Trewly, It’s Been A Long Time!
I got delayed leaving Sydney yesterday and by the time I had taken the alternative route through the Blue Mountains, Bathurst and elsewhere, it was dark and I couldn’t be bothered forging on to Melbourne.
So, I spent the night in Wagga Wagga, catching up with my favourite aunt, Gladys, and two of my cousins, Anne (left) and Denise (right):

I hadn’t seen Gladys since my father’s funeral in 1991. Anne and I couldn’t remember when we last met but it was sometime in the 1970s.
I spent the night in one of the most beautiful motels I have ever stayed in, The Lawson Motor Inn, situated at 117-121 Tarcutta Street, Wagga Wagga. Phone (02) 6921 2200, or email reception@thelawson.com.au to make a booking. You won’t regret it because this motel has the most magnificent rooms I’ve seen in a long while. There’s a full kitchen in each room, a stunning bathroom, top quality bed, wide screen TV with perfect reception, and more. This picture doesn’t really do it justice:
