  • The ALP's vote in the 1903 election increased by 15% to 30.95%. It won an extra 8 seats. The 3 teams were now firmly established. #
  • On 16 Dec 1922, Billy Hughes and the Nationalist Party (26 seats) in coalition with the Country Party (14 seats) defeated Labor (29 seats). #
  • Hughes didn't survive the 1922 election. The Country Party insisted he go as their price for coalition, so Stanley Bruce became PM. #
